Avon Smoothbore Gun Club was established in 1981.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

We hold Sunday morning clay pigeon shoots for members and their guests, usually twice a month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Situated on a farmland hill just North of Bath, our ground has the gradient, woodland and an ancient hedge line to offer a variety of targets. Different stands and traps are setup for every shoot, presenting clays to challenge all levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We enjoy long ranging views to the West over Bristol, across the Severn Estuary and Wales beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After every shoot, our members are expected to help with packing up equipment, picking up all clays whole and broken, along with empty cartridges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strictly fibre wad cartridges only!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The club is affiliated with the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association (C.P.S.A.)<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
